O Grammy chega hoje a sua 58ª edição no Staples Center, em Los Angeles. A cerimônia deve começar às 22h, horário do Recife. Considerada a maior premiação da música, os destaques nas indicações estão nos rappers. Kendrick Lamar lidera com indicações em 11 categorias e o novato The Weeknd concorre em sete.

Os indicados para o principal prêmio da noite, Disco do Ano, são To Pimp a Butterfly, de Lamar, 1989, de Taylor Swift, Sound & Color, do Alabama Shakes, Traveller, de Chris Stapleton e Beauty Behind the Madness, do The Weeknd.
Os brasileiros também estão presentes na lista dos concorrentes: Gilberto Gil concorre em Melhor Álbum de World Music e Eliane Elias em Melhor Álbum de Jazz Latino.
